This role offers the opportunity to become a Concrete Operations Manager within our Concrete Division, based at our Head Office in Huntingdon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our concrete operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with crucial regulations, including:
  • The Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Quality Assurance to ISO 9001/2000
  • EN206
  • BSI Kite Mark Accreditation Scheme
Optimize concrete technical processes across all Mick George Concrete sites.Develop and refine specifications to create optimized Concrete Mix Designs.Effectively manage and resolve technical complaints, reporting back to the Ops Director and MD.Present a monthly technical report to the Concrete Board.Track and maintain Air and cube sampling rates.Collaborate with admixture suppliers to enhance product performance and engineer cost-effective mixes.Update the Ready Minder system with Mix Designs for Quotes and Batching systems.Verify that concrete plants are batching correctly by examining batch records for compliance.Support Cemfloor orders to minimize risk of placements and performance issues.Be available for site visits when technical complaints arise, ensuring they are logged and the customer is notified.Analyze CUSUM data and propose adjustments to batch books as necessary.Conduct regular admixture stock control checks.Compensation and Benefits:
