Job Overview

The Mick George Group is seeking a Professional Asbestos Management Operative to support the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out asbestos removal works in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain equipment and materials to ensure safe working practices.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of method statements and risk assessments before starting work.
  • Collaborate with site supervisor, other site staff, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Record site checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections.
  • Conduct TNA analysis on a project-by-project basis.
  • Support the company's overall objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role (qualified licensed asbestos operative).
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Integrity and reliability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
