Asbestos Removal Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Asbestos Removal Specialist to join our team at Mick George Group. In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake asbestos removal works in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and to the required health and safety standards.
- Maintain plant and materials to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure full understanding of Method Statement and Risk Assessment prior to works commencing and implement all controls.
- Liaise with site Supervisor, other site staff and Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Clients satisfaction.
- Complete all required site checks and record on appropriate forms in conjunction with site Supervisor.
- Perform daily site checks as required.
- Conduct TNA analysis on Supervisor on a project by project basis.
- Support wider objectives of the company.
Requirements
- Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Operative).
- Commitment to providing first-rate customer service.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Safety.
- Able to complete all site paperwork to a high standard.
- Honest and reliable.
- Ability to work as instructed by site Supervisor amidst challenging demands on time.
- Willingness to work additional hours as required, by the needs of the business.
