Asbestos Remediation Technician

Job Description

Mick George Group seeks an Asbestos Remediation Technician to support the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects. This is a key role that requires technical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out asbestos removal works in compliance with regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and materials to guarantee safe working conditions.
• Develop a thorough understanding of method statements and risk assessments before starting work.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, other site staff, and clients to achieve project goals.
• Accurately record site checks and maintain documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Conduct TNA analysis on a project-by-project basis.
• Support the company's overall objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role (qualified licensed asbestos operative).
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Integrity and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
