About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team in a secure environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in the provision and delivery of a high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
  • Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, as part of a comprehensive healthcare package.
  • Be an integral member of the Medicines Management team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of care.
  • Use Practice Plus Group policies and procedures, as well as statutory frameworks governing patient care in a prison setting, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
