We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team in a secure environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated prison pharmaceutical service, maintaining a high level of security at all times.
- Work within the healthcare department, holding direct patient contact as part of a comprehensive healthcare package.
- Be an integral member of the Medicines Management team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care in line with National Guidelines.
- NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications.
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
- Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
- Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course.
- Competency framework and regional/national career development opportunities.
- Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs.
- Support from the wider team.
- Annual salary up to £30,660, depending on experience.
