Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for children in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing a balanced and healthy diet that meets the dietary and cultural requirements of the children
- Cooking food in accordance with daily menus and for special functions
- Maintaining proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensuring that all foods are served at the correct temperature and are clearly labeled with expiration dates
- Maintaining accurate records of temperatures and inventory levels
The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment and excellent communication skills.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A strong background in culinary arts or a related field
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 15:30. The successful candidate will be required to wear a uniform and adhere to company dress code.
SalaryThe salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
