We are recruiting a Caregiver for Young Adult with Complex Needs to provide 24-hour support to a young lady with a diagnosis of EUPD and Sensory Processing Disorder.

Job Description:

  • Provide 1:1 support and encouragement to the individual in her own home.
  • Assist with daily living tasks and implement care plans as required.
  • Support the individual's interests in voluntary work, such as volunteering at a cat café.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment, promoting independence and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social care, preferably in mental health, with knowledge of EUPD and sensory processing disorders.
  • Skill in providing emotional support and understanding to individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to implement risk assessments and detailed care plans.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Working Arrangements:

  • Three x 12 hour shifts per week (day shifts and waking night shifts available) or 24-hour contracts: two x 12 hour shifts per week.
