About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Halton Supported Living Service in Runcorn and Widnes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and dressing
  • Empower individuals to achieve their goals and promote independence
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to help individuals build confidence and self-esteem
  • Assist with medication, meal preparation, and moving and handling
  • Support individuals to access the community and engage in activities
Requirements
  • Strong empathy and ability to connect with individuals on a deep level
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Access to own transport
