We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the OCS Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and premises in a leading retail environment.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants.
- Provide assistance to customers and tenants as needed, including answering questions, providing directions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Monitor and operate the control room, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and car park equipment.
- Manage the signing in and out of visitors, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Conduct regular patrols of the car park to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of vehicles.
- Be prepared to cover the duties of the night officer during holiday periods or other absences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working within the Security Industry
- SIA licence (SG or DS) is essential
- First Aid qualification
- CCTV licence (desirable)
- Experience of radio use
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
