As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing gatehouse operations, conducting thorough internal and external patrols, handling access control for staff, visitors, and contractors, and monitoring surveillance systems.
You will also be expected to exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, documenting any incidents or security breaches.
Key Responsibilities- Gatehouse Duties: Manage and oversee gatehouse operations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Patrolling: Conduct thorough internal and external patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Access Control: Handle access control for staff, visitors, and contractors, ensuring secure and smooth operations.
- CCTV Monitoring: Utilize your skills to monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to any suspicious activity.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Report Writing: Maintain accurate records and reports, documenting any incidents or security breaches.
- SIA licence
- Minimum 1 years security experience
- Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle
