Clinical Specialist in Long-Acting Reversible Contraception

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Clinical Specialist in Long-Acting Reversible Contraception. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organization, SoliHealth Limited, and contribute to the development of our new community-based dermatology service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to patients with sexual health needs, adhering to current BASHH/FSRH guidance.
- Conduct competent clinical examinations, including cervical and bimanual examinations, and diagnose and manage presentations of sexually transmitted infections and related conditions.
- Provide comprehensive discussions on unplanned pregnancy and refer patients to appropriate agencies as necessary.
- Assess, advise, prescribe, administer, and carry out the full range of LARC procedures required by patients, following discussion with the individual as to their contraception choices.
- Ensure knowledge of sexual health, particularly contraception, is up to date and follow National recommendations and guidelines for their management.
- Appropriate clinical qualification (Registered Nurse or General Practitioner).
- Non-Medical Prescriber (if appropriate).
- Letter of competence (in date) for implant and/or coil fittings.
- Understanding of the sexual health agenda locally and nationally.
- Comprehensive understanding of the needs of vulnerable or seldom heard groups/communities in relation to sexual health.
