About the Role

Solihealth Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team in the delivery of Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients requiring LARC services, including assessment, history taking, clinical examination, and provision of contraception.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures within the service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Participate in clinical governance to ensure continuous quality improvement, including clinical audit, education, and updates.
  • Provide health education and ensure patient involvement in decision-making.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient attendance and records, ensuring compliance with local and organisational policy, and UK Law (GDPR).
Requirements
  • Appropriate clinical qualification (Registered Nurse or General Practitioner).
  • Non-Medical Prescriber (if appropriate).
  • Letter of competence (in date) for implant and/or coil fittings.
  • Understanding of the sexual health agenda locally and nationally.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the needs of vulnerable or seldom heard groups/communities in relation to sexual health.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential information.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites when required.
