We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contraception Specialist to join our team at Solihealth Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to patients in need of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide care to patients with contraceptive needs, including fitting and removal of intrauterine devices and sub-dermal implants.
- Provide comprehensive discussions with patients regarding their contraceptive choices and ensure informed consent.
- Deliver high-quality clinical examination and assessment services, including bimanual examination and diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections.
- Initiate treatment and plans of care, including independent assessment for provision of medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and referral to other health and social care services as needed.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of services.
- Appropriate clinical qualification (Registered Nurse or General Practitioner).
- Non-Medical Prescriber (if applicable).
- Letter of competence for implant and/or coil fittings.
- Experience in dealing with confidential information and working with vulnerable populations.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites and work under pressure.
