Care Professional in Neurological Care Setting

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of £15,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus weekly pay and holiday pay inclusive. This represents a minimum hourly rate of £14.57 based on a 37-hour week, excluding overtime and bonuses.
Job Description:
As an Agency Care Assistant, you will be working in a residential care setting, supporting individuals with neurological conditions, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, Huntington's disease, and other complex needs. Your primary role will be to assist with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management, promoting independence and well-being among service users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
- The ability to build strong relationships with service users who have varying needs and abilities
- A genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector
