We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Interim Deputy Director of People. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation and driving our people strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the People Services Directorate, ensuring the delivery of our people strategy and national requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective workforce plans, aligned with key workforce performance trends and strategic objectives.
  • Lead on staff experience, including reward, recognition, engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with trade union representatives to build effective partnerships and drive organisational change.
  • Develop and deliver complex organisational and system-wide projects, prioritising relationships and key stakeholders to achieve our ambitions.

Requirements
  • Member or Fellow of CIPD
  • Substantial and relevant senior management experience in a key operational role with healthcare
  • Significant NHS experience and knowledge of UK employment legislation
