Job Overview

Venari Finance is partnering with a leading Private Equity-backed national client to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role will be the primary finance contact for 9 sites across Scotland and North England, with regular travel to one of the sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main finance focal point for the regional team, ensuring financial controls and processes are followed.
  • Review monthly account reconciliations and recommend financial business cases for investment and capital expenditure.
  • Proactively seek and recommend profit improvement suggestions for the region.
  • Ensure regional period-end close and submissions are made on time and in full.
  • Prepare regional re-forecasting and budgeting.
  • Lead the investigation and query resolution for any issues arising on the depot and transfer station P&Ls.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification.
  • Experience of working with and supporting operational colleagues.
  • Advanced Excel skills with excellent analytical skills.
  • Power BI and project management experience would be an advantage.
  • Management accounting experience.
  • Well-organized with excellent attention to detail.
Package Offered

£50,000-£55,000 plus £4,800 car allowance. Hybrid working arrangement of 1-2 days per week in the Glasgow office.
