Finance Business Partner Opportunity

Glasgow Caledonian University is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join their team. As a key member of the Finance Business Partner Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial sustainability and excellence in planning, management reporting, infrastructure, and investment case appraisals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical financial decision support to the University's Executive, Academic Schools, and Professional Support Departments.
  • Assist in School and departmental planning, providing management accounting support to senior management.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and prepare annual budgets.
  • Shape strategy and Executive decision making through the provision of value-add analysis, investment case support, and enhancements to financial management information.
Requirements
  • CCAB recognised accountancy qualification and membership of an appropriate professional institute or association.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience with demonstrable expertise in management accounting, planning, and influencing at a senior level.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand the range of issues affecting the university's performance.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the organisation.
