Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at Miles Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and kitchen operations for our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen and service teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients and innovative flavors
  • Motivate the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and develop strong relationships with food vendors
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and implement effective food and beverage strategies
  • Monitor and control food costs, and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Participate in menu planning and development, and contribute to the creation of new dishes and menu items
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on using fresh, local ingredients and innovative flavors
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and control food costs and inventory
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement effective food and beverage strategies
