**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced sales executive to join our team at a new luxury spirit and wine store in Central London.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base in the whisky and/or fine wine sector and be able to provide exceptional customer service and promote our premium range of single malt whiskies, spirits, fine wines, and more.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide personalised and attentive service to customers, offering expert product knowledge and recommendations tailored to their preferences
  • To assist in maintaining the store's luxurious atmosphere and high visual merchandising standards, ensuring all products are presented elegantly and attractively
  • To process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment with professionalism and discretion
  • To proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, answer enquiries, and address any concerns or feedback they may have
  • To assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, including restocking shelves, organising displays, and conducting regular stock checks
  • To collaborate with the Assistant Manager and General Manager to execute in-store tastings, events, and promotions, contributing to the overall success of marketing initiatives
  • To stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitor activities to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities
  • To ensure exceptional standards of housekeeping on and off the shop floor

 

Requirements:

  • WSET Level 2 Wine and/or WSET Level 2 Spirits certification or equivalent or above, with a strong knowledge base in the whisky and/or fine wine sector
  • Background in premium retail within the wine and spirit industry
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for fine wines, champagne, spirits, and delivering exceptional customer experiences

 

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will need to be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
