Domestic Assistant Opportunity

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant at Burleys Wood. As a key member of our domestic team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care.
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families, and colleagues, demonstrating good interpersonal and working relationship skills.
  • Work independently, using a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
  • Maintain a high level of hygiene within the home, working on your own initiative.
