Domestic Assistant Opportunity

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at Burleys Wood. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care home.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care.
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families, and colleagues, with good interpersonal and working relationship skills.
  • Work independently, demonstrating the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene within the home.
  • Use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
