Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Family Solutions team as a Family Worker (Link Role). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families to build strong relationships, promote positive change, and provide practical and specialist advice to support families in achieving sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with families to build strong relationships and promote positive change.
- Provide practical and specialist advice to support families in achieving sustainable outcomes.
- Manage your own caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Manage safeguarding risks to children and ensure effective interventions.
- Take the lead on an area of professional practice for the team and support team members in their roles.
- Participate in regular supervision to review work and ensure effective interventions.
- Embed the principles of effective practice in service delivery and work collaboratively with staff and partners to ensure effective risk management.
Requirements:
- Social worker qualification, registered with Social Work England and post ASYE.
- Significant practical experience of working with families with multiple and complex needs.
- Effective communication skills, good problem-solving and assessment skills, and a demonstrable track record of building and sustaining positive professional relationships.
- Ability to work in partnership with others to maximize outcomes for families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and use supervision appropriately.
