We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Family Solutions team in Essex. As a Social Worker - Family Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting families with multiple and complex needs, working closely with them to build strong relationships and promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with families to build strong relationships and promote positive change.
- Provide practical and specialist advice, as well as acting as a lead coordinator for additional support services where appropriate.
- Manage your own caseload and prioritize tasks to ensure effective case management.
- Manage safeguarding risks to children and take the lead on an area of professional practice for the team.
- Support team members and liaise with professionals outside of Family Solutions to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Social worker qualification, registered with Social Work England and post ASYE.
- Evidence of continuing professional development with good knowledge in relevant professional area and commitment to the principles of evidence-based practice.
- Significant practical experience of working with families with multiple and complex needs.
- Effective communication skills, good problem-solving and assessment skills, and a demonstrable track record of building and sustaining positive professional relationships.
- Ability to work in partnership with others to maximise outcomes for families and use supervision appropriately.
