Project Financial Controller

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing costs, procuring materials, and negotiating contracts, with a strong focus on project financial efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:- Cost Management: Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Project Coordination: Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets.
- Risk Identification: Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
- Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- A full UK driving license.
