We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Subcontract Procurement Specialist to join our team in Bristol, UK.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, negotiation, and contract management, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Leidos UK & Europe by managing complex subcontract procurements from initiation to close-out.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives;
  • Negotiating and administering subcontracts with suppliers;
  • Evaluating supplier proposals and conducting price and cost analysis;
  • Managing subcontract risks and identifying mitigation strategies;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of projects;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, law, or engineering;
  • Proven experience in procurement, negotiation, and contract management;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A deep understanding of subcontract procurement processes and regulations;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
