Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Digital Waffle's BI and Data Engineering division as a BI Engineer (Azure, Python, SQL). You will play a central role in advancing the group's data infrastructure and supporting the transformation of data into actionable insights.

About the Role

You will be responsible for working across the group and with data partners to leverage all available data, building out the database, reporting, and insights capabilities. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable systems, data solutions, and reporting that support analytical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain databases, reports, and insights capabilities to enable data-led decision making.
  2. Develop and implement scalable systems, data solutions, and reporting.
  3. Support the insight team with visualisations, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Collaborate with the analyst team and stakeholders to develop AI and ML functions and analytics.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience or certification in data engineering, data science, and/or business analysis.
  • Practical experience of database design and data transformation, supported by ETL processing.
  • Manage data pipelines & orchestration for transferring and processing data.
  • Coding and programming skills, capable of working through complex problems with others from the team.
  • Utilise cloud-based services and corresponding toolsets.
  • Handle structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Salary and Benefits
