Key Responsibilities- Drive a safety culture throughout the business through a hands-on approach on the shop floor.
- Maintain and improve existing HSQ systems, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and customer policies.
- Draft and update policies related to HSE and Quality, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
- Collate data to share at management meetings, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Record incidents and near misses effectively, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
- Oversee and maintain Quality Audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Oversee the visible route of 5S, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete Conformance Data Weekly, identifying areas for improvement.
- Undertake risk assessments for new products, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
- Background in mechanical engineering or fabrication environments.
- Knowledge of Route Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on approach, confident to question actions and make recommendations.
- Data-driven, able to collate information to inform recommendations to board level.
