Health and Safety Director

Huntapac Produce Ltd, a family-owned business established in 1942, requires a Health and Safety Director to ensure legal compliance across its three divisions: agriculture, transport, and production. This role involves promoting a positive H&S culture, developing and coordinating departmental surveys and audits, and ensuring compliance with legislation.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in Health and Safety Management and be able to undertake business risk analysis, risk assessments, and evaluations of practices and facilities. They will also be responsible for preparing and enforcing policies, conducting training and presentations, and collating reports and accident stats.
Additionally, the HSE Director will undertake investigations for accidents or incidents, recommend solutions, and ensure that all work practices are completed within Health and Safety legislation. The working hours are 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
