Sales and Business Development Manager

A leading supply chain and logistics partner to rail industries across the globe requires a Sales and Business Development Manager.
Specialising in bespoke engineering machinery, they seek to solve an array of issues faced by the industry; this individual will drive sales, with the goal of transforming their sales from £6 million to £18 million within the next 5 years.
Utilising your existing sales background within rail or construction, you will be supported by the General Manager, to make yourself indispensable to a £billion company.
Key Responsibilities:- The Sales and Business Development Manager specialises in the technical sales aspects of rail infrastructure plant and equipment.
- The role plays a central role in every stage of the sales process - from planning the sales, customer engagement, closing the sale, and training.
- Is primarily responsible for ensuring the technical specification for each project is clearly defined.
- Responsible for managing both office and field-based time to meet the needs of the customer, sales teams, and the business.
Requirements:
- Rail or Construction background.
- UK Driving License.
- Company Car.
- Company Bonus.
