Senior Children Services Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Children Services Specialist to join our team in Croydon. As a key member of our social care team, you will provide expert guidance and support to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to social workers, promoting high-quality practice and outcomes for children and families.
  2. Casework and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective plans to address the needs of children and families, working closely with other agencies and professionals.
  3. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, promote continuous learning, and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date registration with Social Work England.
  2. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in children's social care, with a strong understanding of systemic practice and its application.
  3. Knowledge and Qualifications: Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory guidance, standards, and procedures, as well as a foundation level systemic practice qualification.
