Learning Disability Assistant

The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and other needs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with Elderly/Younger Adults and Learning Disabilities, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and encourage clients to be independent while supporting them with social, emotional, and physical tasks and activities, including personal care.
- Work with clients aged 17-64 years old, supporting them throughout the day with indoor and outdoor activities, engaging with them, and performing personal care duties.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and care.
Requirements:
- At least 2 Years UK experience working with Elderly/Younger Adults and Learning Disabilities.
- Good English skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to provide personal care.
- Holding a valid DBS certificate or being willing to apply for one.
- Ability to work shifts on a 24/7 rota with flexibility being essential.
