About the Role

Contract Personnel Limited is recruiting for a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join their team based in Kent on a permanent basis. As a key member of the Service Department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and thorough examinations
  • Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical faults on forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
  • Liaise with the parts team to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts
  • Conduct safety inspections and report any defects or issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably with experience in material handling products
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Valid UK driving license and ability to travel between locations
  • C&G qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering related fields
  • Diagnostic computer skills and experience with heavy goods/ plant machinery/automotive
