You will gain insight into Mental Health and Substance Misuse, as well as access to a variety of training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, developing your knowledge in areas you may not typically experience in a general practice or A&E environment.
  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements, making timely decisions regarding future management.
  • Work closely with the entire multidisciplinary team, providing a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team and patients.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive annual salary up to £130,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience, plus payment of MDU/MPS subscription and CPD days.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • MBChB or MBBS qualification.
  • Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal.
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
