Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Spinks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating corporate-level IT networking infrastructure, with a strong background in Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure Virtual Networking, and Window Server Deployment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role within our Infrastructure team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering IT solutions and projects, as well as consolidating various technologies into a standardized offering.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including switching, IP subnetting, VLANS, and routing
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration and Active Directory Administration
  • Azure Virtual Networking expertise
  • Window Server deployment and administration knowledge
  • Intune device management and deployment skills
  • Familiarity with Firewall installation and configuration (WatchGuard preferred)
  • Backup management and configuration experience (Acronis Cloud preferred)
  • Wi-Fi installation and configuration skills, including Wi-Fi survey
Additional Requirements
  • Extensive experience working in high-pressure situations, prioritizing workload effectively
  • Ability to work both remotely and on-site
  • Full driving license and access to vehicle
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 1 day per week in Solihull
  • Overtime covered for occasional out-of-hours call outs
