Construction Quantity Surveyor

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for commercial functions on 3 developments, mentoring 2 QSs and 2 AQSs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate, plan, coordinate, maintain and develop staff to undertake current and prospective workloads.
- Monitor and record individual performances on an ongoing basis together with annual appraisals.
- Optimise the profitability of contracts.
- E nsure contracts achieve optimum cashflow position.
- Completion and compliance with required contract documentation.
Requirements:
- BSc Quantity Surveying or ideally qualified to HND/HNC or BSc degree level (in a building related subject).
- Numerate and possess high level of computer literacy.
- Experience within quantity surveying field within volume housebuilding.
- Good understanding of all aspects of surveying and contractual procedures.
- Strong IT skills.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
