  • Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential risks.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices in construction estimating.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor status or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally in a main contractor or construction company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Certifications in construction estimating or a related field, such as CIOB or RICS.
