Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential risks.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and best practices in construction estimating.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor status or equivalent.
- Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally in a main contractor or construction company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Certifications in construction estimating or a related field, such as CIOB or RICS.
