As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in our project management team at the Russell Taylor Group. Your expertise in CEMAR and NEC will enable you to administer contracts and lead reviews of compensation events. With a strong understanding of contract management, you will ensure that all contract timescales are met by the project team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that contracts are administered in accordance with their scope and terms/conditions. This will involve leading reviews of compensation events and assessing applications for payment. Your experience in CEMAR will also be essential in administering CEMAR at the weekly Early Warning meeting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned quantity surveyor to take on new challenges and responsibilities. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, you will also enjoy hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contract timescales are being met by the project team (management of CEMAR)
  • Administer contract in accordance with scope and terms/conditions
  • Lead review of compensation events
  • Lead assessment of application for payment and forecast to completion
  • Administer CEMAR at the weekly Early Warning meeting

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Contract Management such as NEC
  • Familiarisation with CEMAR
  • Support of Early Warnings and compensation events
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
