About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our Analytical & Scoring Model Review team within Credit Risk. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and accuracy of our credit risk models, making informed lending decisions for our customers and Financial Services business.

Reporting to the Head of Analytical and Scoring Model Review, you will work closely with the business to review all aspects of key credit risk model developments. Your expertise will be essential in building models that make the right decisions at the right times, whether it's reviewing the development sample, characteristic analysis, or modelling methodology.

You will be responsible for providing insight and recommendations, communicating these in a compelling and impactful way to senior stakeholders. With multiple priorities to manage, you will need to balance stakeholder expectations with prioritizing your workload, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be surrounded by talented professionals across Financial Services and the wider group, working collaboratively to achieve business ambitions and deliver a world-class, personalized experience for our customers.

About You

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and logical individual with a keen eye for detail. You will have a degree in a numerate discipline, be highly proficient in SQL or SAS, and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in credit model development is essential.

We also value your softer skills, including the ability to coach and develop other analysts, work with challenging stakeholders, and solve complex problems in a clear and concise manner.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities, be comfortable presenting your findings to stakeholders at all levels, and have a customer outcome-focused and commercially aware approach.
