The Role: Senior Care and Support Worker - Sedgemoor

As a Senior Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting a team of dedicated Care and Support Workers. You will work collaboratively with the Team Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to customers with daily activities, including accompanying them to appointments.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Care and Support Workers, fostering their professional development.
  • Conduct quality monitoring visits to ensure adherence to standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Develop and review personalized care plans tailored to each customer's needs and preferences.
  • Offer standby support outside of regular hours to provide continuous care and assistance.
  • Effectively manage team concerns and foster a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of individuals.
  • Hold a Level 2 Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a care setting.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Valid driver's license.
