About the Role:
This Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship role is an excellent opportunity to engage with young minds in a rewarding and dynamic environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons, assist with the preparation of learning materials, and provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering lessons
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage student participation and promote confidence in learning
- Administrative tasks: maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Assist in organizing classroom displays and resources
- Help prepare reports and assessments as needed
- Behaviour management: support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive conduct
- Assist in implementing school policies and procedures related to student behaviour and safety
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
- Work towards relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
