Job Advert: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Hemel HempsteadJob Type: 4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday), Full School Day, Term Time OnlyContract: Temp to PermPay: £120-140 per day

TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning and progress in a fantastic school in Hemel Hempstead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging learning activities for individual pupils, small groups, and whole classes.
  • Teach whole classes.
  • Organise resources.
  • Support pupils' learning and progress by providing targeted interventions.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupils' development and achievements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • HLTA qualification or experience in an HLTA role.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver effective learning activities.
  • Strong classroom management skills, as required to take whole classes.
  • Confident in assessing and tracking pupils' progress.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
