Job Details

We are seeking a Counselling Psychology Graduate to fill a Child Behaviour Interventionist role in primary and special education needs (SEN) schools across Haringey. The successful candidate will work with children aged 5-11 who have identified behaviour, SEMH, SEN, including ASD needs, on a full-time basis.

As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1-to-1 basis during the school day, in classrooms, mentoring sessions, and break times. Some pupils may display challenging behaviour, but the school provides training in suitable interventions and approaches.

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs and have experience in CAMHS or child mental health services. In return, we offer a competitive salary (£25,000 - £30,000 per annum), depending on experience, and opportunities for professional development.
