Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Years Practitioner. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development in children aged 4 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging indoor and outdoor activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Support children's learning and development through positive reinforcement, praise, and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Attend training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification or relevant experience.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygienic practice.
  • Understanding of the developmental needs of children, statutory framework, and relevant legislation.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding good practice.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification or willingness to train.
