Work With Vista has an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Deputy Manager in a 3-bed home located in the heart of Walton Vale, Liverpool. As part of our Children's Residential Services, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children, helping them achieve their personal goals and develop into confident individuals.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and promoting independence among our young residents. You will work closely with our team to implement individualized care plans, ensuring each child receives tailored support that meets their unique needs and promotes their overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities- Care Delivery: Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's requirements, taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support and promote a positive working relationship.
- Childcare Support: Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities that foster their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or needs, utilizing IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent qualification.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families where applicable.
- Experience: Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable.
- Care Planning: Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
- IT Skills: Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and reporting on client progress.
Salary: £35,852 (including sleeps paid at £50) working 40 full-time permanent hours, plus an extensive benefits package and career progression opportunities.
