Job Title: Public Relations and Communications Specialist
Job Summary:
The Public Relations and Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing PR plans to drive brand awareness through targeted activity and initiatives within the UK. This role will involve working closely with the UK Marketing Director to ensure excellent communication and timely fulfilment of all activity to the highest standards, resulting in strong business results and a measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and coordinate copy and content for campaigns, newsletters, blogs, and web.
- Keep abreast of all aspects of content development for products and marketing collateral supplied by the HQ, localizing where required.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to create content for landing pages and optimize the user experience.
- Manage social media on a daily basis to ensure that any complaints/feedback are actioned quickly and in a polite professional manner.
- Ensure all written content is produced with SEO techniques to drive engagement and increase web presence.
- Measure and report on performance of all relevant campaigns and assess the activity against KPIs and business goals.
- Analyze and evaluate customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption as appropriate to further strengthen the campaigns.
- Schedule and project-manage tactical plans to ensure key campaigns are prioritized and all plans delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Preferred (but not essential) degree in English, communications, journalism, or PR.
- Experience in copy and content writing, experience of proofreading, experience in social media management monitoring, and experience in working with external agencies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, ability to digest and interpret technical material.
- Cybersecurity or tech industry knowledge, up-to-date with all the latest trends and best practices of online marketing and campaign measurement.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English language, excellent level of communication, project management planning skills, and strong analytical skills and results/data-driven thinking.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage, high level of attention to detail, highly motivated and self-driven, creative and resourceful, proactive and dynamic, team player, flexible approach, and ability to perform under pressure of multiple deadlines.
Magnitude (Area of Impact): This is the primary function for localizing materials and resources in the country. Difficult role to replace.
Additional Information: Travel: 10/20% travel may be required.
