Job Title: Consultant Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Haematologist to join our dynamic team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our haematology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a broad range of clinical and laboratory haematology skills, with experience of working within the NHS. You will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with haematological disorders, including those with complex and rare conditions. You will also contribute to the development of our haematology services, including the implementation of new treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including inpatient and outpatient services
  • Contribute to the development of our haematology services, including the implementation of new treatments and therapies
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and educate medical students and postgraduate medical trainees
  • Participate in on-call rota, providing advice and clinical help across hospital and community
