Job Title: Laboratory Equipment Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Equipment Management Specialist to join our team at PerkinElmer. As a key member of our scientific services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of laboratory equipment, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

About the Role:

  • Manage and coordinate laboratory equipment activities, including maintenance, repair, and installation.
  • Lead a team of coordinators in delivering excellent customer service and resolving technical issues.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for equipment usage, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, science, or technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in laboratory equipment management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, software, and tools, such as Microsoft Office, SAP, or other relevant systems.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
