This is a Zero-hour contract role, offering flexibility and autonomy. Contracts are regularly reviewed to ensure fairness and transparency.


Responsibilities
  • Retrieve 'Move' orders from operations and follow instructions carefully.
  • Complete all removals, relocations, and installations for furniture moves, IT relocations, Lab equipment, or fine art with precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow delivery plans from JLL Ops Manager, Assistant Ops Manager, and Supervisors to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, ensuring it remains tidy and efficient.
  • Fully utilize recycling skips (wood/metal and general).
  • Report all completed jobs to the management team promptly.
  • Oversee goods entering and exiting storage facilities.
  • Participate in large specialist projects such as hospital, library, or school equipment moves.
  • Complete all necessary JLL training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures strictly.
  • Monitor and record vehicle mileage accurately.
  • Comply with site rules and regulations at all times.
  • Pack items safely before removal or storage.
  • Wrap and protect furniture or delicate items for secure shipping/transport.
  • Take apart larger items of furniture for packing and removal.
  • Remove doors, door frames, or windows to facilitate large piece movement.
  • Pack items, load them into your vehicle, and secure them safely for transport.
  • Verify all goods are secure before departing.
  • Drive to the new location, unload items, reassemble large pieces, and place them according to customer specifications.
  • Unpack cartons and unwrap furniture upon arrival.
  • Pack Cold Chain Materials with care.

The ideal candidate should be willing to travel and may need to stay overnight during longer distance moves.

A valid driving license is preferred but not essential. Experience in a removal or similar role is advantageous.

Our working hours are flexible, and shifts can range from 10 hours per day. You will have regular breaks and time off to maintain work-life balance.
