We are seeking a caring and passionate Deputy Manager to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs in Llanelli. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

About the Role
  • Support the Service Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
  • Plan rotas, manage staff teams, and ensure compliance within the service.
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users and follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements
  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
  • Senior Support Worker Experience.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers essential due to the nature of the role.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000.
  • Full-time 40 hours a week.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Monday-Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun).
  • Location: Llanelli.
